Gravell, Miskel to serve on Indigent Defense Commission

Governor Andy Beshear has appointed Jennifer Miskel and Thomas Gravell to the Indigent Defense Commission Governing Board. The board is responsible for overseeing the provision of legal services to indigent defendants in Kentucky.

Miskel is an attorney with the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy. She has over 15 years of experience in criminal defense, including representing indigent defendants in both state and federal court.

Gravell is a retired police officer with over 30 years of experience. He has served as a member of the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council and the Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police.

Both Miskel and Gravell are committed to ensuring that all Kentuckians have access to quality legal representation, regardless of their ability to pay. They will be valuable additions to the Indigent Defense Commission Governing Board.
