Ohio’s Cedar Point amusement park is set to unveil its newest thrill ride, Valravn, on May 6, 2016. Valravn is billed as the “tallest, longest, fastest” dive roller coaster in the world.
The ride features a 223-foot-tall drop, a 3,415-foot-long track, and a top speed of 75 miles per hour. Valravn is the 17th roller coaster at Cedar Point, which is known as the “Roller Coaster Capital of the World.”
Park officials say Valravn’s design was inspired by the ravens that inhabit the park. The ride’s trains are painted black and yellow, and they feature raven-shaped headrests. The ride’s station is also themed to ravens, with raven-shaped sculptures and sound effects.
