Barcelona Survives Tricky First Half to Complete Hard-Fought Comeback at Home
Barcelona FC survived a tricky first half to beat Valencia 4-2 on Saturday, with Robert Lewandowski scoring a hat trick in the second half to complete a hard-fought comeback at home.
Lewandowski opened the scoring in the 30th minute, but Valencia equalized just before halftime through Edinson Cavani.
Barcelona took the lead again in the 50th minute when Raphinha headed home a cross from Jordi Alba, but Valencia once again equalized through Yunus Musah in the 65th minute.
Lewandowski then took over the game, scoring twice in the final 15 minutes to give Barcelona the victory.
The win moves Barcelona up to second place in the La Liga standings, one point behind Real Madrid.
