Lena Duchannes' Hipster Style
Lena Duchannes may be a Caster, but her style is more hipster than debutante. Alice Englert, who plays Lena in the upcoming film Beautiful Creatures, says that Lena's look is "very different from the other girls in the movie."
Kurland, the film's costume designer, even designed Lena's ball gown to fit the formal dress code of a pivotal Caster event while still representing her character's unique style.
Goth Accessories
Though Lena's aesthetic skews more hipster than debutante the character will be flaunting a couple of goth accessories. From her raven-black hair to her well-worn boots to the black ink all over her hand-like henna done goth.
At Gatlin High's winter formal, some of the girls ruin Lena's dress by pouring liquid soup on her and Ethan.
